Information we collect
Information you give us.When you request an estimate, schedule service, apply for a job, or contact us, we collect what you submit: name, email address, phone number, city, the service you're interested in, and anything you write in a message field. Job applications may also include experience, trade skills, and availability.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect technical data when you visit: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and how you arrived here. We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics for this — see our Cookie Policy for details. Form submissions include your IP address, which we use to prevent spam and abuse.
How we use it
- To respond to your service request, provide estimates, and schedule work
- To send a confirmation email when you submit a form
- To evaluate job applications
- To understand how the site is used and improve it
- To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse of our forms
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Service providers we use
Your information passes through a short list of vendors who process it on our behalf: website hosting (Vercel), database storage (Neon), transactional email (Postmark), analytics (Google), scheduling and chat widgets (Broccoli), and optional bot protection (Cloudflare). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
Retention
We keep service inquiries and job applications as long as needed to serve you and maintain business records, then delete or anonymize them. You can request deletion at any time (see below).
Your choices and rights
- Access or deletion: email service@phoenixhandyman.net or call (480) 863-5975 and we will show you what we have or delete it.
- Cookies and analytics: see the Cookie Policy for opt-out options.
- Email: we send transactional emails (confirmations) rather than marketing blasts. If we ever operate a mailing list, it will be opt-in with a working unsubscribe link.
Children
Our services and website are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with reputable providers using industry-standard protections. No system is perfect; we limit what we collect so there is less to protect.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes get a notice on the site, not a silent edit.
